Due to company growth, my SaaS client is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join their team. Responsible for winning new business accounts in the UK and internationally across food and drink manufacturers, retail brand partners, medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers etc.

My client is an established SaaS solutions business in Yorkshire and The Humber.

Description

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for winning net-new logo's across across food and drink manufacturers, retail brand partners, medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers etc.

You will have some of the following key responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth.
  • Reporting on sales performance and market trends.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product development teams.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven new business sales experience.
  • Track record of selling SaaS solutions.
  • Experience selling software into any or all of the following would be desirable but not essential; food and drink manufacturers, retail brand partners, medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills.
  • A strong customer focus and a commitment to achieving excellence.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Must be commutable to an office based in Yorkshire and the Humber region two days per week.

Job Offer

  • £45-65k basic salary DOE + double OTE + car allowance
