Position: Early Year Educator
Location: Lancaster
Start Date: September
Pay Rate: £13-14 / hour

Job Responsibilities:
- Work in a purpose-built Nursery environment designed to spark imagination and encourage exploration.
- Plan and deliver a rich and varied curriculum that meets the unique needs and interests of each child, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Facilitate play-based activities and experiences that promote children social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the Nursery class, following safeguarding procedures and promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Use observation and assessment tools to track children progress, identify individual needs, and plan next steps in their learning journey.
- Build trusting and supportive relationships with children, providing emotional support and encouragement as they explore and learn.
Preferred Skills:
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a deep understanding of the importance of early childhood education.
- Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning experiences that inspire children curiosity and imagination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational skills to assess children development and identify their interests, strengths, and areas for further support.
Requirements:
- An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this)
- Good knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills.
