Seeking a meticulous and efficient Procurement Administrator to streamline purchasing operations within an established Industrial/Manufacturing firm. This role necessitates robust organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Description

  • Provide a point of service escalation within the Group IT team for all purchasing and licence enquiries.
  • Fulfilment of global purchasing and licensing requests.
  • Request quotes from supplier and raise purchase orders where appropriate for group it.
  • Ensure accuracy of costs and information within purchase orders and emails with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Constructively challenge requests seeking to understand desired outcomes and applying most effective model to achieve that result.
  • Control maintenance activities related to licences such as inactive user accounts with licences.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal customers, 1st line support, other technical teams and Group operating companies as required.
  • Follow internal IT Service Management processes accurately and ensure all incidents and requests are logged in the ITSM platform.
  • Liaise with and co-ordinate third party vendors to ensure a seamless service is provided to our internal customers.
  • Where gaps in the function are discovered work with the Group IT Procurement Manager to continually improve and futureproof the purchasing and licensing offering to the Group.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Profile

A successful Procurement Administrator should have:

  • A solid understanding of procurement processes and strategies.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications
  • Strong knowledge of using Microsoft applications such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in driving process conformity and improvement.
  • Experience of providing Service Support within an organization with geographically dispersed employees.
