We are working with a brilliant education provider in Swindon that are looking for a passionate individual to start at their school in September 2024 as a Behaviour Assistant. The position is a full time position beginning in September 2024 in the Swindon area, supporting students with additional needs or behaviour challenges throughout the school day.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Assistant:
- 1-1 support for students with SEMH needs
- Observing triggers for episodes of bad behaviour
- Identifying effective regulation tactics when facing challenging behaviour
- Setting goals for students to work and achieve
- Participate in staff meetings to share observations and input on care plans
- Keep students motivated and engaged in lessons
