Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Tester to support our OVM to VMWare Migration project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test planning, coordination, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the OVM to VMWare Migration project by ensuring thorough testing of all migration activities.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and effective testing.
- Execute test cases and document results.
- Identify, report, and track defects to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in test planning, coordination, and execution.
- Strong understanding of OVM and VMWare environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with migration projects, particularly OVM to VMWare.
- Relevant certifications in testing or VMWare technologies.
