Job Title: Marketing & PR Manager - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Ascot

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

About Our Client

Our client, a well-established FMCG company, is looking for a talented Marketing & PR Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for formulating a strategic Marketing & PR programme, driving brand awareness, and managing a team of six.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate, train, and develop the Marketing & PR team, ensuring deadlines are met and a consistently high level of service is provided.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan for franchises and salons across the UK and Ireland, as well as the trade advertising plan for all brands.
  • Drive brand awareness through social media and targeted trade marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Paris to ensure brand consistency and contribute creatively to worldwide initiatives.
  • Manage the adaptation or creation of marketing collaterals, including copywriting for various materials.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with external partners and internal departments to support the company's strategy.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales teams to understand and fulfil their needs, maximising opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales cycle analysis, promotion strategies, and new product launches to BDMs and FDMs.
  • Produce reports to update and inform the wider team of department progress.
  • Responsible for managing the PR and Marketing budget.
  • Conduct market focus groups and consumer research panels, as well as support the organisation of trade events and seminars.
  • Attend relevant conferences and networking events.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years Marketing & PR experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience of team management.
  • Dynamic, passionate, and proactive team player.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to review projects objectively.
  • Understanding of ROI and trade spending effectiveness.
  • Experience in managing press launches and events.
