Reed Brighton is delighted to be partnering with a BTA Travel Agency and a Coach Tour Operator based in West Sussex who are seeking a Tours Manager to join their vibrant team. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08.30am to 5.30pm, including approximately one Saturday in four with a day off in the week in lieu.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee and manage the tours department, ensuring all operations are performed efficiently, including preparing drivers' packs, customer itineraries, processing supplier payments, and booking excursions.
- Produce two coach holiday brochures and two newsletters annually, which involves researching new destinations/attractions, securing hotel bookings, and designing and writing tours.
- Represent the company at trade and promotional events, enhancing our visibility and business opportunities.
- Collaborate and liaise with other departments to provide assistance and share innovative ideas for business improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Experience in producing brochures and newsletters is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to represent the company at various events.
