HR Generalist

Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes to ensure the acquisition of top-tier talent.
- Manage HR records and documentation meticulously, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Conduct employee relations activities to foster a positive and harmonious workplace environment.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Facilitate training and development in collaboration with other departments to enhance team capabilities.
- Provide comprehensive HR support including performance management, training and development, and employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinaries, and redundancies.
- Drive change and support business growth through effective internal communications aligned with our culture and values.
- Onboard new starters, including system setup, liaising with new starters, conducting inductions, and tracking employee probation completions.
- Contribute to and deliver people initiatives such as new benefits, systems, performance frameworks, events, and incentives.
- Prepare the monthly payroll spreadsheet and liaise with the external payroll vendor to ensure timely payroll processing.
- Act as the main point of contact for any payroll-related queries.
- Advise line managers and employees on employment law and the organisation's employment policies and procedures.
- Support the HR TUPE and integration process for acquisitions.
- Prepare monthly HR management reports and other reports as necessary.
- Assist the HR team with ad-hoc tasks and projects, including minute taking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and HR systems.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software.
- Relevant degree in Human Resources or related field.
