Randstad is hiring for a school in Manchester and is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to SEN students in the classroom.
- Assist teachers with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans, safeguarding of the student.
- Helping students with their learning and ensuring the classroom is a safe learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months experience working with SEN students in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to various teaching methods and learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students' educational needs.
- Enhanced DBS is mandatory (If you do not have a DBS on the update service you must be willing to apply for a new one).
- Eligible to work in the UK (No Sponsorship).
