We currently have an exciting position as an HGV Workshop Controller in the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks dealership in Birtley.
As an HGV Workshop Controller, we can offer you:

Who are we looking for as an HGV Workshop Controller:
- You will have previous experience in a supervisory or workshop controller role within the Commercial Vehicle sector.
- Experience of servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to meet current legislative requirements.
- Qualified to City & Guilds/ NVQ 3 HGV Repair & Maintenance.
- Up to date knowledge of basic H&S legislation and practices.
The HGV Workshop Controller role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):
As an HGV Workshop Controller, based in our busy Workshop environment, you will be required to schedule and supervise the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a variety of Commercial Vehicles, as well as standard servicing and diagnostics. Organise service and repair documentation and any/all other maintenance documentation in accordance with Company standards and legal requirements.
Monitor the maintenance of housekeeping across all sections of the Workshop and that it remains compliant with statutory requirements. People management responsibilities including performance and absence management.
The HGV Workshop Controller working hours are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays when required..
