Think Community Partnership are working with a leading homeless charity dedicated to providing support and opportunities to individuals experiencing homelessness in Coventry. This organisation is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where everyone has the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Activities Coordinator who will take responsibility for developing, coordinating, and implementing a variety of activities and programs aimed at enhancing the well-being, skills, and social integration of their service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organise a diverse range of activities, workshops, and events that cater to the interests and needs of their clients.
- Collaborate with external partners and volunteers to provide engaging and meaningful activities.
- Assess the needs and interests of clients to tailor activities that promote personal development and social interaction.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, collecting feedback to improve and adapt the program.
- Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and participant engagement.
- Support clients in building confidence and developing new skills through active participation in activities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a charity or community setting.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A creative and proactive approach to developing new activities and programs.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
