HR Administrator

Your new role
My client is looking to expand their HR team! Are you looking for your next step within an HR environment OR your first step into HR? You will be joining a small and productive team where you will take overall responsibility for all transactional HR administration. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Manage onboarding processes
  • Provide support to employees on various HR related topics
  • Assist in updating company policies, legal compliance and recruitment
  • Maintaining and updating employee files and records
  • Prepare and amend HR documents, e.g., employment contracts, policies, etc.
  • Assist with exit interviews, return to work meetings, organising employee performance reviews including minute/note-taking
  • Report on absence management and process holiday approvals
  • Engage in obtaining references for potential employees and carrying out DBS checks
  • Reporting on HR metrics
  • Involved in employee health & wellbeing MHFA
  • Update group beneficiary forms from all employees and updated EAP communication
  • Assist with all HR related matters and maternity/paternity/parental leave
  • Promote employee benefits platform to improve employee engagement
  • Update First Aid training and assist with payroll administration

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you will ideally have previous HR admin experience or excellent general admin experience with a passion for HR. CIPD Level 3 would be an advantage, but not a necessity. This job is a great starter role for someone with a positive and a 'can do' attitude, who is looking to learn and grow within a busy HR function. Excellent IT and communication skills are a MUST and you will need to demonstrate that you have handled sensitive or confidential information in your career previously.
