Assistant Management Accountant
Location - Snodland
Salary- Up to £30,000 Per Annum DOE
Temporary Ongoing role with possibility of becoming permanent
We have an amazing opportunity in Snodland for a Assistant Management Accountant to work for one of our clients, who value empathy, trust, and commitment, challenging, and driving continuous improvement for both its clients and employees.
Responsibilities
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Support local Managers with inventory management
- Be a key support in the interim and year end audit with external auditors
- Ensure timely and accurate production of key management account information
- Assisting with the preparation and reconciliation of various balance sheet items in a timely and accurate manner including the posting of any journals
- Assisting with the month-end closure procedure
- Working closely with stakeholders as required, supporting and providing key business information to support decision making
- Proactively managing workload to ensure all deadlines are met within month-end timetable
- Supporting fellow team members in the day to day running of the Finance department
- Ad-hoc reporting, analysis and project work
Skills and Experience
- At least 1 years experience in similar role
- Experience of ERP Systems
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- AAT or CIMA/ACCA Studier
- Ability to build good relationships with colleagues, communicating at all levels of the business
- Analytical thinking skills
- Problem solving
- Attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable whilst also being proactive
