CNC Machinist
Coleford-Double Days -Permanent - Fulltime-Competitive Salary DOE
The role:
- Set and operatea variety ofmodern and conventional machinery.
- Manufacturecomponents, working to drawings and specifications.
- Self-inspect components.
- Report any manufacturing errors to line manager so corrective action can be agreed
- Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule
- Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.
- Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
- Positive attitude, good time keeping and a willingness to be flexible.
The Person:
- Motivated, highly organised, experienced CNC machinistwith a good understanding of machining principles.
- Understand and utilise Control systems.
- Experience setting upand runvarious machines including CNC and Manual.
- Read and understand technical drawings.
- Experience with Milling and turning techniques
