We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team and provide valuable support in a secondary school setting. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for education and are looking to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a constructive learning environment.
- Interacting with students to support their learning and development.
- Following and enforcing school policies and procedures.
- Providing feedback to teachers on students' progress and any issues encountered.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in secondary schools, such as a teaching assistant, tutor, mentor, or coach.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a positive approach to education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective behaviour management skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
