Principal Acoustic Consultant
My client is an internationally renowned company with operations spanning across 12 diverse sectors such as technology, healthcare, and finance, is currently looking to expand its team by welcoming a proficient Principal Acoustic Consultant. The company provides an extensive array of multidisciplinary services to a client base that encompasses commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, making it an exciting and dynamic environment for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in acoustics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Corporate membership with the Institute of Acoustics (IOA)
- Experience in conducting BREEAM assessments and HVAC noise measurements and prediction
- Experience in conducting noise and environmental assessments
- Experience in the RIBA design stages of projects and collaboration with architects on internal building acoustical design
- Knowledge of acoustics-related legislation, regulation, and standards
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with internal and external design teams to develop plans for internal acoustic designs
- Effective liaison with stakeholders across various stages of development, demonstrating strong commercial acumen
- Proficiency in utilizing noise modelling software such as INSUL, CaDnaA, and Microsoft Excel for comprehensive analysis
