Trinity House Group are working with a high growth business based in Castle Bromwich who are looking for a Finance Manager.
The Finance manager will support the finance controller across all accounting and controlling aspects of the Group. These need to ensure high levels of governance controls across all site operations as well as management of intra group activities.
Job Type: Full time Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/QBE)
- Looking at accrual and prepayments across the UK business
- Preparing the weekly sales and margin report
- Assisting with the preparation of technical accounting memos with reference to relevant prescribed accounting guidelines and ensuring the accounting for all Group entities is kept up to date, accurate and maintained in good standing
- Monthly closure of periods and rollovers on a timely basis, ensuring these are fully in adherence to the closure timetables
- Timely accounting and consolidation of intercompany accounts on monthly basis, released in line with the accounting calendar
- Lead the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring the books reflect an accurate picture for the business and its assets and liabilities
- Preparing the group first draft flash results for review
The Candidate
- Highly numeric / strong analytical skills
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with education to degree or equivalent level with a strong academic record
- An eye for detail, focused on implementing robust controls and processes
- Experienced in statutory accounting and management of audits
- Experience in preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs desirable
