Connect2Luton are excited to recruit a Play Maintenance Technician on behalf of Luton Borough Council.
Main purpose of position:
To work within a team to ensure the maintenance of equipment in Luton's Play areas and a range of parks infrastructure.
As a Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible to:
- Implement actions identieid through play facility inspections
- Use power tools and specialist equipment e.g drills, welding, grinding
- Install maintain and clean park infrastructure e.g benches and bins
- Undertake and record condition inspections
- Undertake daily routine safety and maintenance checks
Skills and Experience:
- Experience of undertaking similar technician/maintenance duties
- Experience of using a range of fixed and portable hand tools
- Able to prioritise and organise workload
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and make calculations
- A good understanding of Health and Safety as relates to the role
- Able to walk across uneven ground whilst undertaking duties
- Able to operate a range of equipment and machinery
- Ideally hold a full driving licence
