Freight Sales Business Development Manager

Our client, a well-established Logistics and Haulage solutions specialist, with an excellent reputation within the industry is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated individual with a proven track record in seeking and winning new business in the freight forwarding industry.

The successful candidate will take on full responsibility for attracting new business through effective cold calling whilst promoting and highlighting products and value-added services provided by our client. You may be asked to carry out additional tasks within your capability, in order to meet the needs of the business.

To be considered for this role applicants are required to have a proven track record in UK and European freight sales and business development. It is essential that you have the ability to build and maintain strong influential relationships with clients along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to close sales.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary package including bonus' and loyalty schemes (subject to eligibility).
