Site Supervisor – Somerset
RGB Recruitment are delighted to be working with a reputable roofing contractor in search for a Site Supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis who will be assisting the Contracts Manager in the organisation, management, and control of all aspects of site work throughout the Somerset area. This contractor specialise in all forms of roofing including slate leadwork, metal sheeting & cladding. As the Site Supervisor, you will be field based and responsible for the day to day running of contracts across multiple across the Somerset region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-roof inspections, mid-roof inspections & complete sign-off's
- Delivery of toolbox talks to tradesmen, material monitoring
- Plot scheduling with site teams and Contracts Manager
- Liaising and organising the workforce of roofing tradesmen and labourers
- Regular communication with in-house buying department to ensure continuity and scheduling of works is correct
- Attendance of weekly sub-contractor site meetings
- Attend weekly meetings to discuss progress and planning
Requirements:
- Relevant driving licence
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience
- A good understanding of Health & Safety
- Good IT skills, excellent communication skills & organisational skills
- Strong people skills & ability to work under pressure
- CSCS card
