Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining building assets to create a safe and pleasant working environment
- Managing 3rd party contractors for planned and reactive maintenance/projects works
- Conducting planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Managing organic maintenance and improvement projects
- Ensuring compliance with building records and statutory documents
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Effectively managing repair schedules and resolving issues
- Providing plumbing works, joinery, painting, and decorating services
- Testing and inspecting equipment as required
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations and company policies
- Mentoring apprenticeships
- Assisting with grounds maintenance
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- IT literate
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Ability to multitask and remain customer-focused under pressure
- Flexible approach in a changing environment
- Professionalism, trust, and integrity
- Basic knowledge of H&S regulations
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in managing projects and contractors
- Previous experience in a building maintenance environment
