We have partnered with a highly successful, international logistics firm based in Chelmsford who are seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a 6 month maternity cover contract to join their established transactional finance team.
You will be reporting into the Senior Management Accountant carrying out a wide range of responsibilities at month-end, and you will be required to have previous experience in multi-currency transactions and assisting with month-end reconciliations.
The role is paying a salary of £32,000, as well as offering a strong hybrid working model and a competitive benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Management Accountant with a wide range of tasks at month-end.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Updating the cash flow.
- Bank reconciliations & processing invoices.
- Analysing accounts.
- Assisting the Global Accounts Payable team where required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant.
- Prior exposure at month-end.
- Fundamental understanding of accounts.
- Multi-currency experience (preferred).
- AAT qualification/part qualification (ideal).
