Our client based in St.Albans are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join them in this new role.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounting transactions
- Posting and reconciling bank transactions
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes
- Processing purchase invoices and expenses
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Liaising with clients and providing them with regular updates on their financial records
- Undertaking ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Ideally you will have some experience within accounts, possibly be studying or AAT qualified and enjoy working in a small team in a varied role.
The role is full time in the office, so you must live locally to St.Albans
