This whole of the Market financial planning company was established in 2011, and offer holistic advice to a wide range of clients including; private clients, corporate clients, sports professionals and media clients.

The business evolved from the desire of the founders to provide a truly client focused service to all clients. Since then, the business has quickly grown by attracting other similar minded financial advisers and is now a team of 11 made up of the following:

  • 2 Advisers/Business Owners
  • 1 Operations Director
  • 2 Full time and 2 Part Time Qualified Paraplanners
  • 2 Full Time Administrators
  • 1 Full Time Project Analyst
  • 1 Part Time bookkeeper

They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Financial Planning Assistant to join their Client Servicing team and can offer the following benefits:

  • A total of 28 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays), 4 days must be used during the Christmas and New Year break when the office will be closed. An additional day's holiday after 2 years' service, up to a maximum of 31 days.
  • Contracted working hours for full time employment are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break.
  • Hybrid working is available, based on three days office based and two days working from home.
  • Pension contribution as per auto-enrolment legislation.
  • Membership of WPA NHS Top Up Scheme, on successful completion of the six-month probationary period.
  • Assistance toward studying costs for appropriate qualifications

The successful candidate will provide full administrative support and assistance to at least one allocated Wealth Manager, and may also work as part of a team to make sure that all Wealth Managers and their clients are provided with an excellent level of service.

Key responsibilities / accountabilities:

  • Processing of pension, investment and protection business.
  • Preparation of valuations and compliance paperwork required for client reviews.
  • Preparation of Annual Review packs and non-advice related follow up with clients.
  • Dealing with client queries.
  • Performing fund switches (observed by a Director/Paraplanner)
  • Updating of our client database (Intelligent Office).
  • Working as part of a team and assisting other team members where necessary.
  • Preparation of documentation.
  • Production of illustrations and cost comparisons.

Key Experience

  • Ideally 3 plus years' experience in a financial planning support role
