Position: Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant in our SEN and SEMH schools, you will play a crucial role in supporting students aged 5-16 years. You will work closely with teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, helping students overcome barriers to their education and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, tailored to their individual needs.
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment.
- Support students with their social and emotional development.
- Help implement Individual Education Plans and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
- Resilience, patience, and a caring nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience working in a SEN or SEMH setting is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training.
