Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation, development, and testing of new adhesive and coating products.
- Perform research to improve existing product performance, durability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure product feasibility.
- Conduct hands-on experiments and analysis, developing prototypes to test product concepts.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform product development.
- Document research findings, write technical reports, and contribute to patents or publications.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams during product implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in adhesive or coatings formulation and development.
- Strong understanding of polymers, resins, and other materials used in adhesives and coatings.
- Proficient in analytical techniques (e.g., rheology, spectroscopy, thermal analysis).
- Experience with scale-up processes and manufacturing integration is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for reporting technical results and collaborating with diverse teams.
