Description
- Overseeing and managing multiple audits across a range of client industries
- Assessing the reliability of financial reports and accounting systems
- Mentoring and guiding junior members of the team throughout all audit stages to completion
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards incorporating both UKGAAP & IFRS
- Providing sound advice and recommendations to clients for improvements
- Preparing reports and communicating findings to management
- Contributing to the development of the audit department
- Supporting business development activities, and recognising new business opportunities
Profile
The successful Audit Supervisor should have:
- Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Prior experience in a similar audit role within the professional services industry in the UK
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles and practices to carry out full audit process end to end
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and support junior staff
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and standards
