Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support the educational needs of students in Newham, starting in September.

As a Teaching Assistant, your primary role will be to assist teachers in creating a positive and effective learning environment. You will work closely with students, providing academic and emotional support while fostering their personal development.

Responsibilities:

  • Classroom setup for learning.
  • Literacy support and reading.
  • Individual student help.
  • Curriculum and record assistance.
  • Behaviour management for a positive classroom.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with Primary or Secondary pupils - this can include experience outside of schools (youth mentor, instructor, club leaders etc)Display confident classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Be resilient, reliable and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Have a passion for education and helping students.
