Role: Project Support Officer

Type: Fixed Term Contract until January 2025

Salary: £32,425

Location: Bristol, Two days a week on site

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for three Access and Participation Officer to join an exciting project team. Our client is looking to work with likeminded individuals, who can offer excellent communication skills, are confident on the phone and are looking to make a difference for students and their experience of higher education.

Key responsibilities for the Project Support Officers are;

  • Working with the Regulation directorate, you will be responsible for supporting the team in developing and implementing the organisations regulatory framework
  • You will deliver core processes, workstreams and projects related to access and participation plans
  • You will be expected to support other projects also from time to time
  • To ensure the outcomes and objectives in the business plans are delivered efficiently and effectively
  • Contribute to the development of potentially complex policies, according to the A+P strategic priorities
  • Develop ideas and identify risks, working with others
  • Provider practice and performance is appropriately monitored, assessed and recommendations are made
  • Applications for funding are effectively assessed against the published funding criteria and recommendations are made
  • Risks and opportunities are identified and escalated as required
  • Appropriate judgements about what is effective practice are made in collaboration with others
  • Communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders relevant to their brief are engaged

The Ideal candidate for the Project Support Officer will have;

  • Effectively managing their own work workload and managing tasks with others in the team
  • Ability to implement improvements to policies and processes
  • Cope with changing priorities flexible and proactively
  • Ability to collect, evaluation and interpret data and information to inform judgement and recommendations
  • Understand current research, data, legislation, and broad data
  • Proficiency in integrating intricate data to generate comprehensible, reliable recommendations that align with and reinforce the Directorate and objectives
  • Builds, distributes, and absorbs knowledge from others' skills
  • DESIRABLE: previous experience in a higher education setting and experience with policy adaptions.
