A commercial real estate investment management firm are currently searching for a Financial Controller to join their team based in the City of London. This role presents a great opportunity to develop your career and play a leading role in the management of the company's finances.
Position Title: Financial Controller
Location: City of London
Salary: £75,000 - £95,000
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main roles of the Financial Controller will be to:
- Produce and consolidate financial reports and statutory financial statements under UK GAAP (FRS102) and local GAAP.
- Oversee cash management, including invoicing, payments, and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage annual group audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisors for regulatory reporting.
- Develop and support the finance team, ensuring effective training and daily management.
- Support IT and accounting system projects, and handle ad hoc initiatives from senior management.
- Act as the key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring robust financial systems and processes.
EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS
- Qualified accountant from a top 40 firm (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CFA)
- Business-related degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics Maths)
- Ideally strong experience within commercial real estate
- Strong leadership and team management experience
