Are you an enthusiastic care worker looking for a career in education?

We are currently working with a Special Needs school based in Waltham Forest that are looking for people to join their incredible team in September. The school are looking for people with an education or care sector background to work as Learning Support Assistants in the school. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable people through proper care, education and play.

The school is a primary-aged SEN school catering to students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. They have recently moved into a new site and now have the facilities available to expand their intake for the next academic year. They are aiming to find people who have care experience or experience working in an SEN environment to help them maintain and then improve on their Good' Ofsted rating.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with vulnerable people.
  • Have a passion to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
  • Previous school experience is ideal but not essential.
  • Moving and handling experience is desirable.
  • Comfortable working 1:1 with students.
