We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a strong background in Speech and Language for a full-time role starting in September 2024.
Role Details:
- Position: Teaching Assistant with Speech and Language background
- Location: Outstanding primary school in Leeds
- Start Date: September 2024
- Hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm
- Salary: £85-£95 per day (temp to perm contract TBC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with speech and language needs.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored educational plans.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with specialists and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Experience in Speech and Language support.
- Personal experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly valued.
- Must be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS or have one on the update service.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Able to provide academic or professional references.
