Eden Brown are recruiting for an enthusiastic HR Business Partner for a Further Education College in Lancashire.
As a HR Business Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our people strategy, providing expert HR support and guidance across the college. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and solution-focused HR professional who can collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including academic staff, administrative teams, and senior leadership. You will partner closely with department leaders to develop and implement effective HR practices that support staff engagement, performance, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to college leaders and managers on all aspects of HR, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Support the college's strategic goals by aligning HR initiatives to academic and operational priorities.
- Lead on complex employee relations cases, ensuring a fair and supportive approach that aligns with college policies and best practice.
- Drive initiatives to enhance staff engagement, improve retention, and foster an inclusive and supportive college culture.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and smooth integration for new staff.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement policies and practices that support a diverse, motivated, and high-performing workforce.
- Champion continuous professional development (CPD) for staff, identifying training needs and promoting development opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards it).
- Strong generalist HR experience, ideally within education, further education, or a related sector.
- Possess strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Proven experience in a similar HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach to work.
