Chilworth Partnership (also trading as Venture Recruitment Partners) are working exclusively with a leading and rapidly expanding Services organisation, based near Southampton, in their search for a Director of Treasury which will oversee all European Operations.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for:
- Lead, manage and develop a growing team of centralised treasury individuals, that manage the day-to-day money movement for all European businesses.
- Manage payment instructions and timing of payments for investment capital calls, investor distributions and expenses.
- Actively involved in the implementation of a new treasury management platform to manage all money movement processes.
- Oversee onboarding of clients onto the Treasury Management platform.
- Oversee the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and internal control narratives related to the Treasury systems' functions with accuracy and completeness.
- Identify opportunities for standardisation, and continual process improvement and coordination.
- Oversee the consolidation and centralisation of the Treasury team.
- Analyse workflow to ensure proper staffing levels of all treasury functions.
- Provide training to Principal teams on treasury processes and procedures.
- Serve as a principle contact for any escalation needs.
- Liaise with banks.
You will:
- Have extensive experience within a Treasury operations department in the finance industry.
- Feel comfortable taking a lead role in the centralisation of a Treasury function, implementing consistent controls and processes as a result.
- Have a strong background in the management and coaching of growing teams, helping to develop future leaders.
- Have good understanding of European regulation, compliance and tax.
- Be competent in cash management systems.
- Have excellent relationship building skills.
