Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Head Chef who will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes menu development, food preparation, and ensuring a consistent standard of quality in every dish. You will lead, motivate, and inspire the kitchen team while maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative, seasonal menus that reflect the company's values and use locally sourced ingredients
- Oversee all food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure the highest quality
- Manage kitchen operations including ordering, inventory control, and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Lead, train, and develop a team of chefs and kitchen assistants
- Work closely with the management team to drive business growth and maintain customer satisfaction
- Maintain consistency and quality in a high-paced environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality establishment
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, trends, and food safety practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen
- Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, local ingredients
- A genuine love for food and hospitality
