TSR Legal have a brand new opportunity to work for a Dispute Resolution department that is the cornerstone of this Legal 500-recognized firm. Comprising six specialized subdivisions-commercial litigation, property litigation, professional negligence, contentious probate, intellectual property litigation, and insolvency-their team is led by experienced specialists committed to delivering exceptional legal services.
Position Overview:
As a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution department, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders, gaining exposure to a wide range of complex legal issues. Your role will involve supporting the team across various types of disputes, from commercial litigation to intellectual property cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with legal research and the preparation of case materials.
- Support the team in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and settlement agreements.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third-party experts to coordinate case details.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
- Aid in the preparation of documents for court actions and enforcement proceedings.
- Handle administrative tasks, including diary management and scheduling.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in law or equivalent legal qualification.
- Previous experience as a paralegal, preferably in a dispute resolution or litigation setting.
- Strong research and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research software.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
