Sales Coordinator
Location: Cannock/Burntwood area
Salary: Competitive
Working hours: 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
A rapidly expanding technical service solutions business, specialising in industrial air systems is seeking a qualified candidate for an internal sales position. The company has over 65 years of trading history and successful organic growth, and holds a significant market share.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Working from a mixture of annual existing contract renewals and "warm" sales leads.
- Provide quotations as required for service packages and individual service tasks offered.
- Ensuring all quotations are logged onto the operating system daily.
- Producing and sending out quotes in a timely manner.
- Proactively chasing customer orders.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure our customer experience is positive.
- Liaise with external customers to ensure that quotations are received in accordance with agreed timescales.
- Contact clients by telephone and e-mail.
- Identify opportunities to process orders and close sales.
- Identify opportunities for referral to sales team.
- Assist in developing clients via proactive desk-based sales processes.
- Understand key clients development paths.
- Advise the Team Leader of new opportunities to grow revenue streams.
- Ensure records are maintained and monthly report produced showing progress against agreed criteria.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with the managers and staff of all sections throughout the company.
- Adhere to policies and procedures.
- To follow the company's ISO procedures including filing or paperwork relating to all orders and quotations.
- To carry out other ad hoc duties as required.
