We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Controller to join our clients dynamic finance team at our beautiful head office in Brackley, Northamptonshire. Nestled in a lovely area, our office provides a serene and inspiring environment to work in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Account Management: Efficiently control and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collections.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers to facilitate efficient collections and resolve any issues promptly.
  • DSO Reduction: Work towards reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSOs) and minimising bad debts.
  • Franchise Collaboration: Foster a close working relationship with our franchise network to ensure smooth operations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Produce account reconciliations and maintain accurate customer records and ledger accounts.
  • Communication: Manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring all customer queries are logged and resolved efficiently.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle tasks such as supplying statements, copying invoices, applying credit terms to accounts, and assisting with legal recovery.
  • Payment Processing: Promptly process payment allocations to your ledger and resolve remittance issues with customers.
  • Reporting: Responsible for aged debt reporting, weekly banking reporting, and bank reconciliation duties.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable duties within your capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Credit Control. Proficiency with MS applications; experience with MS Dynamics is advantageous. Proven track record in process efficiency and improving collection performance. Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
