I am working with a well-known international organisation who are seeking a Year End Accountant to join them ASAP!
As the organisation enters an exciting period of system transformations, my client is seeking an experienced charity Year End Accountant to lead the organisation's statutory accounting and audit process. This will be a three to six month contract where the successful candidate will need to hit the ground running to ensure timelines are met. The role is based in Surrey with flexible working arrangements available.
The main responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant include:
- Act as a key point of contact for the external auditors during the year end process and ensure any recommendations are implemented in a timely fashion.
- Attend the Finance and Audit Committee meetings, presenting the accounts and answering any follow up queries as required.
- Lead the preparation of annual accounts.
- Partner with several internal stakeholders to gather the correct information to be collated.
The successful candidate will be:
- A qualified accountant or QBE.
- Experienced producing year-end accounts in line with SORP/FRS102.
- A first-class communicator with excellent Excel skills.
Charity experience is essential for this role.
