Senior Solution Architect

Our Glasgow-based client is an institution which is recognised worldwide for its commitment to delivering excellence. Reporting to the Lead Enterprise Architect, the Senior Solution Architect supports key stakeholders by shaping and delivering systems and solutions aligned to their needs and objectives. Working directly with stakeholders across the organisation, as well as colleagues in Information Services, Transformation, Procurement, and PIA, the postholder will be accountable for delivering viable, pragmatic, and effective architectures and design blueprints which ensure the success of key transformational technology initiatives, and the realisation of the organisations' strategic objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Champion Strategic Technology: Spearhead the implementation of strategic technology areas, instilling enterprise architecture principles and ensuring their adoption for the institution's tech-driven initiatives.
  • Visionary Leadership: Infuse the institution's critical tech missions with innovative vision, fostering a culture of collaboration and forward-thinking strategies.
  • Architectural Oversight: Oversee the design of essential business platforms, ensuring they align with institutional strategies and are primed for future scalability.
  • Advocacy and Collaboration: Advocate for Technology Strategy services, securing support and commitment through strategic partnerships within the institution.
  • Strategic Supplier Relations: Cultivate strategic supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective solutions and alignment with the institution's procurement standards.
  • Integration and Technical Guidance: Lead the development of system integration and technical designs, ensuring seamless compatibility with existing systems and adherence to the institution's strategic vision.
