HR Officer

Hays are excited to be working with a large established organisation based in Cardiff who are looking for a Permanent HR Officer to join their team!
Your new role

  • Support the HR function by managing day to day operational HR activities.
  • Supporting and advising managers in line with employment legislation and the organisation's policies and procedures.
  • Engage and advise on employee relations cases such as grievances, disciplinary, absence and performance management.
  • Assist with recruitment across the site including, writing job descriptions, preparing interviews and assisting with the vetting and referencing tasks.
  • Contribute to policy reviews and development.
  • Contribute to health, wellbeing and employee benefit initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 Qualified or have relevant experience in an HR role.
  • You will have great relationship, negotiation and communication skills.
  • You will have excellent knowledge of up-to-date legislation and employment law with the confidence to discuss this with colleagues throughout the organisation.

What you'll get in return

  • Up to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 25 days + BH
  • Standard Pension Contribution
  • 37.5 working week
  • Charity days (paid)
