We are working with a long-standing client in the Finance space. They are on the lookout for a proactive Email Developer, could that be you?

This business has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, meaning the Email Development team needs to grow. This role sits within a strong Dev team, and you would be supporting an integral part of the business.

Responsibilities:
As an Email Developer, you will...

  • Design and Development: Create responsive email templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Create PDF attachments using iTextPDF in conjunction with SQL.
  • Coding: Write clean, efficient, and reusable code to build email templates and PDF's that adhere to industry best practices.
  • Testing and debugging: Conduct thorough testing to ensure emails render correctly across various email clients and devices.
  • Optimisation: Optimise email load times and performance as well as developing to achieve the low spam score by email service providers.

Requirements:
As an Email Developer, you will need...

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java (iTextPDF) and email-specific coding practices. Familiarity with email development tools and platforms.
  • Email Design Principles: Knowledge of email design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Image Optimisation Skills: Ability to optimise images for maximum performance.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure emails are error-free and function as intended.
