CAD Technician

We are looking to recruit a CAD Technician, who will work collaboratively with engineers on a variety of projects, offering support across engineering drawings, managing the bills of materials, whilst also maintaining the engineering databases.
Responsibilities of the CAD Technician:
- Provide support with CAD based drawings to engineers.
- Manage the document storage system and update the system with drawings and manuals.
- Remove any redundant drawings from the system and replace where necessary.
- Offer support and guidance to other CAD users on site.
What we are looking for in the CAD Technician:
- A proactive team player, who is comfortable working with senior management on a variety of projects.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- The confidence to offer training and development to colleagues.
- Organisational skills and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Previous experience within a similar role using AutoCAD would be ideal.
