Finance Assistant

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join a vibrant, rapidly growing team in Newhaven. Whether you're a recent graduate or have 1-2 years of experience in finance, this role offers the perfect opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparations of UK VAT returns
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations
Requirements:
- Graduate in finance, accounting, or a related field OR 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
