As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for the organisation, management, and leadership of all production shifts to ensure the effective delivery of the business KPIs, strategy, people management, and production output. You will also provide guidance and leadership to ensure effective operations and service are maintained by providing supervision, guidance, and coaching.
To give you an idea of how this Production Management role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
- Support the Factory Manager to ensure overall responsibility for all aspects of production is managed effectively and production numbers are met
- Look to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs whilst ensuring high-quality products are produced at all times
- Plan, coordinate, and manage Shift Managers to ensure the activities of team members meet production plans and hold them accountable for their performance
- Monitor all manufacturing processes and take appropriate steps to be successful in achieving the required outcome.
