We are seeking a supportive and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to assist SEMH Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 pupils, based in Cranbrook, Kent.

This is a contracted role for the successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant who will support the SEMH Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 students with compassion, enthusiasm and understanding.

The SEN School values Preparation, Learning at a comfortable pace and Fellowship alongside the Safe Guarding of their pupils, which are all key requirements necessary to the role.

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant must be clear in all communications with the Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 students and staff, has an encouraging and supportive attitude, can develop strong and professional learning paths for the Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 students during their educational journey and can confidently face challenges that may arise with the Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Teacher with educating Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 Pupils within an inclusive, supportive and positive environment
  • Assist students with any class work and tasks provided by the Teacher
  • Be a listening ear to students and a supportive role model

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in assisting SEMH pupils preferable
  • Must have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above
  • Enthusiasm for assisting Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 with learning
  • Strong communication and team building skills with Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 pupils and staff

Summary

Information on the Teaching Assistant role:

Location- Cranbrook, Kent.

Pay- £85-100 per day.

This is equivalent to £425-£500 per week Full-Time.

Day rate is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Hours- 8.30am- 3.30pm Monday-Friday.

Full-Time and Part-Time roles available.

Contract- Day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and permanent roles available.

Year- Key Stages 1-5 (Years 1-11, age 5-16).

Some roles available in Key Stage 5 (Years 12-14, age 16-19).

Qualifications- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Level 5 and above.

This is a contracted position.
