Salary: Up to £90,000 + 5% bonus
Location: London (3-4 days per week in the office)

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Resource Solutions and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and management accounting activity across a function or division. This is an exciting opportunity to produce credible, well-researched analytics for senior management and contribute significantly to the financial discipline and commercial awareness across the division.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and management accounting activity across a function or division. You will be responsible for supporting the FP&A strategy, delivering financial planning and reforecasting processes, challenging expense plans, supporting operational efficiency projects, and working with the wider FP&A team on management reporting. Your ability to build successful internal business relationships will be key in this role.

  • Support the FP&A strategy across function or division, proactively steering change assisting senior management with decision making.
  • Accountable for delivery of the financial planning and reforecasting process across the division's cost base.
  • Challenge expense plans to ensure delivery within budgets and work with senior management to identify and implement cost saving initiatives.
  • Support ad hoc operational efficiency projects to significantly improve financial discipline and commercial awareness across the division.
  • Work in conjunction with the wider FP&A team to continually update and improve all management reporting including design of new reporting, adaptation of existing reporting and establishing best practice.
  • Direct the preparation and consolidation of the respective function / division's budget to support achievement of overall finance plan.
