My client is established in the heavy plant machinery repair business. They manufacture components and tools, carry out repairs and provide site-support. Due to increasing demand, they are looking to expand their field team with a Site Welder. The successful Candidate will have experience with MIG and TIG welding. You must also have a Driving Licence and be happy to travel throughout the UK.
**Site Welder
Position Overview
- MIG/TIG Welding working with steel to produce components for machinery
- Working in 2 to 3 man teams to weld large steel
- Organise and check kits of parts before proceeding to weld
- Fully weld components and remove splatter ready for inspection
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Look for development opportunities
- Adhere to procedures & Health and Safety standards
**Site Welder
Position Requirements
- Experienced in MIG and TIG welding with the ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience working with steel
- NVQ Level 3 in fabrication & Welding / Plating & Welding desirable
- Ability to work in a team
- Based within Lancashire
- Full UK Driving Licence

Position Remuneration
- Hourly rate £14.00 - £19.00 Depending on experience
- Overtime available paid at 1.5x
- Company van and fuel card (company use only)
- Travel expenses paid for

- Hours Monday - Friday, optional weekend overtime
