Day-to-day of the role:
- Partner with management to support business strategies and enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and practices, ensuring they are understood and implemented effectively across the organisation.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and performance improvement plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives such as talent management, succession planning, and employee development.
- Analyse trends in employee turnover and retention, providing insights and strategies to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
- Support the recruitment process by working with hiring managers to define job requirements, screen candidates, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably within the catering or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
