Role Responsibilities
- Carrying out tax advisory and planning work, including preparing technical notes and advice for clients
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies
- Liaising directly with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored tax advice
- Conducting thorough tax research and staying updated on changes in tax legislation
- Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising clients on optimising their tax positions
- Assisting with HMRC enquiries and investigations
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping them grow and develop
- Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand services
- Attending networking events to build relationships and enhance the firm's reputation

Candidate Requirements
- CTA or ATT qualified, with strong experience in tax advisory and compliance
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Excel
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with a "can-do" attitude
- Exceptional client service skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to meet individual client needs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and colleagues
